A BEGINNER' GUIDE TO SOLAR ENERGY

While solar PV isn’t rocket science, there’s certainly more to it than meets the eye. We take great pride in educating our customers on all aspects of their investment, including the technology involved that turns sunlight into savings.

What is Solar Energy?
Solar energy, radiation from the Sun capable of producing heat, causing chemical reactions, or generating electricity. The total amount of solar energy incident on Earth is vastly in excess of the world’s current and anticipated energy requirements. If suitably harnessed, this highly diffused source has the potential to satisfy all future energy needs. In the 21st century solar energy is expected to become increasingly attractive as a renewable energy source because of its inexhaustible supply and its nonpolluting character, in stark contrast to the finite fossil fuels coal, petroleum, and natural gas.
How Much Does a Solar System Cost?
With Solar Costs at an All-Time Low, There’s Never Been A Better Time to Invest. We can help you install a system that generates up to 100% of your energy usage! Experts at Omesa will help you select the right system size and technology for your property and determine if you are eligible for provincial or subsidies to help offset costs of your install.

Right Investment to Make Money.
Compounding the money is a great art which is possible by investment. There are many types of investment, one of them is overseas investment. When people say about overseas investment then there are many options in their mind like portfolio investment in many companies or a direct investment in variety of sectors. One of the best overseas investment is investment in solar energy (a non-conventional source of energy). India is one of the highly populated country of the world and the population of India is constantly increasing. India is third largest consumer of electricity and the need is exponentially increasing.
Off-grid :

A true “off grid” dwelling is not physically connected to the electric utility, and generally uses batteries to provide baseload power, recharged by solar panels and/or a fossil fuel generator. Being off-grid means you have significant limitations to how many power loads you can use (as battery technology is still relatively expensive and there are hard limits to how much power you can produce in winter!) and only makes sense in situations that are extremely difficult to connect to the utility grid, i.e. you build a home up on a mountain or on an island.

Grid-tied :

75% of solar installations in the India are grid-tied, meaning they still have a physical connection to the public utility grid, but can also produce their own solar power. Under this arrangement, you treat the utility like a gigantic battery – anytime the sun is out, your home produces and consumes its own solar electricity, but any excess you can send out to the grid. At night or during crummy weather, you use power from the electric grid like normal. Utilities are required by law to give you credits for any solar power you send out to the grid, under an arrangement called ‘net metering.’ It varies, but in most places, you get a 1:1 credit, or 1 unit of exported solar = 1 unit of utility credit you can use later.
